I was just trying to fix a few stray blocks…
SUDDENLY, LAVA, ME WITHOUT COBBLESTONE REPLACEMENT.
Fall from my little sand tower and take damage while lava basically spews out.
Its fixed now, but god that was a sad moment.

So this is my cobblestone tower born of my madness….
In an attempt to industrialize the lake near my mountain fortress I started playing with lave and water. This is the end result.

So I was lost in the wilderness at one point (After emerging drunk with power from a mining excursion) and I had to make a quick shelter to avoid the zombie hordes.
“But wait,” I thought, “WHY STOP THERE?! Should I become lost again, surely a landmark will help me home.”

I don’t even know. I just think I’ll weep. And keep a fresh pair of pants nearby for when I see a highly detailed creeper walking at me from THE ABYSSAL DARKNESS
So….I’m pretty sure the world I have right now on Minecraft is like a gift from the cube-based GODS.
Spawn is in the side of a mountain, near a lake, in a basin. Other basins and mountains surround me. Down underground near bedrock minerals are plentiful (CLEARLY I HAVE ENOUGH REDSTONE TO MAKE A ROCKET TO THE MOON) and lava is easy to find.
I even died once losing all my shit, and here I am strip mining like it never happened.
